Jozani-Chwaka Bay National Park is Zanzibar's only national park and a UNESCO Man and the Biosphere Reserve, located in the south-central part of Zanzibar Island, Tanzania. The park is most famous for its population of the endangered Zanzibar red colobus monkey, an endemic species found nowhere else on Earth. Its rich mosaic of groundwater forests, mangroves, coral rag forests, salt marshes, and wetlands supports an exceptional diversity of wildlife, including Zanzibar Sykes' monkeys, Aders' duikers, bushbabies, the endemic Kassina Jozani frog, and over 168 bird species.
