Jukani Wildlife Sanctuary is a dedicated predator sanctuary located in The Crags, a short drive from Plettenberg Bay along South Africa's famous Garden Route. Founded in 2005, the sanctuary provides a permanent home for large cats and other predators that cannot be rehabilitated or returned to the wild, including lions, white lions, cheetahs, leopards, black leopards, tigers of several subspecies, jaguars, pumas, caracals, and servals, as well as zebras, wild dogs, honey badgers, and various snake species. Guided walking tours lasting approximately two hours allow visitors to learn about each animal's individual story, conservation challenges facing large predators, and the sanctuary's commitment to ethical wildlife care. Jukani has received international recognition for its outstanding approach to animal welfare and visitor education.
