
Kaohsiung City Shou Shan Zoo, officially known as Shoushan Zoo, is a publicly operated wildlife park situated in Gushan District, Kaohsiung, Taiwan, open Tuesday through Sunday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The zoo features a diverse collection of animals organized across multiple habitat zones, including primates such as orangutans and gibbons, African megafauna like lions and elephants, Bengal tigers, hippos, and an array of Taiwanese native species including Formosan black bears and muntjacs. A popular children's petting area and friendly animal zone feature capybaras and alpacas for close-up interactions.
