Key West Aquarium

Key West Aquarium is a historic marine attraction located in the heart of Mallory Square in Key West, Florida, proudly serving visitors since 1946 as one of the oldest aquariums in the United States. The aquarium showcases the diverse marine life of the Florida Keys through exhibits including the 50,000-gallon Atlantic Shores display, home to nurse sharks, tarpon, grouper, and jacks, as well as Stingray Bay where visitors are invited to interact with resident cownose rays. A touch tank invites guests to gently handle conchs, sea stars, urchins, sea cucumbers, and hermit crabs, while additional exhibits feature moray eels, barracuda, jellyfish, and parrotfish. Four rescued sea turtles, Rocky, Lola, Spike, and Hector, reside at the aquarium, and knowledgeable guides share each turtle's rescue story during tours.
