Kuzuko Private Game Reserve

Kuzuko Private Game Reserve, whose name means "Place of Glory" in Xhosa, is an exclusive 35,000-acre safari destination bordering the Greater Addo Elephant National Park in the malaria-free Eastern Cape of South Africa, approximately 70 km from Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth). The reserve was created by combining 22 former farms, allowing nature to reclaim the land and enabling the reintroduction of species absent for over 150 years, including lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant, and rhino. Spanning three of South Africa's nine biomes — from the rolling hills and valleys of the Zuurberg Mountains to the wide open Karoo plains — the reserve's diverse landscape makes for outstanding wildlife sightings. Twenty-four luxurious thatched chalets offer a refined base for twice-daily game drives, nature walks, night drives, and guided birdwatching, all led by experienced rangers who ensure intimate and unhurried encounters with the bush.
