La Jungla is a wildlife rescue and exhibition center situated on the shores of Lago de Yarinacocha near Pucallpa in Peru's Ucayali region. The facility houses a variety of Amazonian species including crocodiles, tapirs, monkeys, anacondas, and an array of tropical birds. Visitors can observe these animals up close and learn about the rich biodiversity of the Peruvian Amazon, while also sampling traditional Amazonian cuisine on site. The center serves as both a tourist attraction and an informal haven for animals rescued from the surrounding rainforest.
