Lake Manyara National Park is a stunning wildlife sanctuary nestled between the Rift Valley escarpment and the alkaline waters of Lake Manyara in northern Tanzania, near the gateway town of Mto wa Mbu. The park is celebrated for its legendary tree-climbing lions and large herds of elephants with impressively long tusks, as well as diverse wildlife including hippos, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, baboons, blue and vervet monkeys, leopards, and numerous antelope species.
