Lake Superior Zoo

Lake Superior Zoo is a regional wildlife center located at 7210 Fremont Street in West Duluth, Minnesota, home to over 300 animals representing 140 species. The zoo features native and exotic wildlife including Amur tigers, snow leopards, brown bears, gray wolves, river otters, primates, bald eagles, porcupines, and a two-toed sloth, alongside newer residents such as capybaras. Visitors can explore a tropical rainforest in the Primate Conservation Center, ride the zoo train through diverse habitats, and book any of eight behind-the-scenes experiences. As a regional center for protection, conservation, and education, the zoo actively highlights endangered and threatened species and works to raise awareness of environmental issues. It is a cherished family destination in the Lake Superior region.
