Lords Park Zoo

Lords Park Zoo is a historic, free-admission outdoor attraction located at the south end of Lords Park on the east side of Elgin, Illinois, with roots dating back to 1895. Today, the zoo features year-round viewing of bison, elk, and white-tailed deer in spacious fenced outdoor areas within a beautifully landscaped park setting. During the summer months from late May through mid-August, a seasonal farm zoo opens to showcase domestic animals including pigs, calves, sheep, donkeys, ponies, and turkeys, creating a charming hands-on experience for young visitors. With clean, well-maintained enclosures and easy access to the park's picnic areas and green spaces, Lords Park Zoo offers a relaxed and family-friendly day out in the heart of Elgin.
