Lynnwood Park Zoo

Lynnwood Park Zoo is a veteran-owned and operated zoo and sanctuary located at 1071 Wells Road in Jacksonville, North Carolina. Spanning 10 acres, the facility houses over 100 animals across more than 80 exhibits, including many animals that have been rescued, re-homed, or rehabilitated. Visitors encounter a diverse collection of reptiles such as American alligators and pythons, birds including barn owls and geese, and mammals like goats and llamas available for interactive feeding. The zoo features a tranquil pond and picnic areas, making it a welcoming destination for families and groups. Open Friday through Monday, the zoo also accommodates scheduled group visits for parties of 20 or more on other days, offering a relaxed, hands-on wildlife experience for the local community and visitors to the Onslow County region.
