Maine Wildlife Park

Maine Wildlife Park is a wildlife sanctuary located in Gray, Maine, operated by the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife. The park provides permanent care for more than 30 native species, including moose, black bears, white-tailed deer, porcupines, raccoons, bobcats, and birds of prey — many of which arrived as injured, orphaned, or previously captive animals unable to survive in the wild. Visitors explore the grounds along walking trails designed for strollers and families, with daily keeper talks offered at 11 AM and 1 PM providing insight into each animal's story and natural history. Audio tours and virtual field trips are also available. The park operates seasonally and emphasizes conservation and education, offering volunteer and donation opportunities to support its animal care mission.
