Marineland Croc Park

Marineland Croc Park, known as Marineland Melanesia, is a historic wildlife attraction situated on Green Island, a coral cay on the Great Barrier Reef off Cairns in Far North Queensland, and the only coral cay in the world home to crocodiles. First established in 1954 and expanded in 1971 when the Craig family brought their remarkable collection of crocodiles and Melanesian tribal artefacts to the island, the park offers daily interactive wildlife shows at 10:30am and 1:30pm. The park is home to up to 15 freshwater and saltwater crocodiles and features one of the world's largest collections of Melanesian tribal art. An impressive range of aquarium displays showcasing local reef species, as well as a well-stocked gift shop, complement the crocodile exhibits. Open seven days a week from 9am to 4pm, Marineland Croc Park provides a fascinating and unique wildlife encounter for visitors arriving on Green Island from Cairns, blending natural history, cultural heritage, and live animal presentations in one iconic Great Barrier Reef destination.
