Monkey Haven is an award-winning primate rescue centre and sanctuary located at Five Acres Farm near Newport on the Isle of Wight, dedicated to providing lifelong care for rescued primates and exotic animals saved from neglect or illegal trade. Home to over 19 species including Lar gibbons, Siamangs, Mueller's gibbons, Javan langurs, critically endangered Cotton-top tamarins, Colobus monkeys, and Mangabeys, the centre also houses a reptile house and birds of prey. Daily keeper talks and feeding sessions bring guests close to the animals and their fascinating stories. Two play areas, a cafe, and a gift shop ensure a full family day out, and the centre is fully accessible with free parking. Monkey Haven has been named the Isle of Wight's top animal attraction and a winner of VisitEngland's Best Small Attraction.
