Monkey Jungle is a unique 30-acre primatarium and zoological park located in South Miami, Florida, established in 1933 and now home to over 300 primates from around the world. Famous for its tagline "Where humans are caged and monkeys run wild," the park features a caged walkway through which guests travel while primates roam semi-freely in naturalistic habitats. Major exhibits include the Southeast Asian Wild Monkey Pool and Trail, the Cameroon Gorilla Forest, North America's only semi-natural Amazonian Rainforest, and a tropical bird aviary called Wings of Love. Conservation and research are central to the park's mission through its affiliate, the DuMond Conservancy for Primates and Tropical Forests.
