Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife Center

The Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife Center is a 23.85-hectare zoological and botanical garden located in Diliman, Quezon City, Philippines. Operated by the Biodiversity Management Bureau, the park serves as both a nature oasis within a highly urbanized setting and a Wildlife Rescue Center that provides temporary shelter for confiscated, injured, and abandoned wild animals. Visitors can encounter more than 1,400 animals, including Philippine deer, saltwater crocodiles, Philippine sailfin lizards, blue-balled monkeys, and large pythons. A man-made lagoon hosts catfish, tilapia, and snakehead fish, while the grounds feature around 4,000 tree species, 100 of which are endemic to the Philippines. The Museum of Philippine Biodiversity, opened in 2017, offers interactive exhibits covering six protected areas and showcasing both terrestrial and marine ecosystems, making the center an informative destination for families and nature enthusiasts alike.
