Northumberland College Zoo

Open to the public seasonally during school holidays, the zoo features species including lemurs and alpacas, with a wider collection supported by the college's academic curriculum. The facility holds BIAZA membership, reflecting its commitment to conservation and professional animal welfare standards. It was recognised with the Small Visitor Attraction Award at the 2025 North East England Tourism Awards and holds Green Tourism certification, underlining its commitment to sustainable visitor experiences.
