Northumberland Zoo is a family-run, non-profit zoo set at Eshottheugh Farm near Felton, Morpeth, Northumberland, that has been welcoming visitors since 2015. Home to over 80 species, the zoo features snow leopards, harvest mice, fruit bats, meerkats, lemurs, arctic foxes, raccoons, and capybaras, among many others. Keeper talks, feeding displays, and animal encounters bring guests closer to the animals, while live webcams allow remote wildlife viewing. The zoo is an active member of BIAZA, EAZA, and Species360, and runs dedicated conservation programmes for snow leopards, Livingstone's fruit bats, harvest mice, and white-clawed crayfish. School visits and educational programmes round out the experience, making Northumberland Zoo a rich and rewarding day out for families and animal enthusiasts in the north-east of England.
