Paradise Country

Paradise Country is an authentic Australian farm experience located in Oxenford on Queensland's Gold Coast, just 20 minutes north of Surfers Paradise. Part of Village Roadshow Theme Parks, the attraction opened in 2005 and invites visitors to meet koalas, kangaroos, dingoes, emus, sheep, meerkats, and many more Australian animals in a friendly, interactive setting. Guests can cuddle a koala, hand-feed kangaroos, visit the baby animal nursery, and enjoy a full program of live shows including the action-packed Australian Stock Horse display, a sheep herding demonstration with working dogs, and the Shearing Shed show featuring Shaun the Sheep's Aussie Adventure. Traditional Outback activities such as damper making and billy tea complete the experience, making Paradise Country a wonderful celebration of Australian rural life and wildlife for families and visitors of all ages.
