Phoenix Zoo

The Phoenix Zoo is one of the largest privately owned nonprofit zoos in the United States, situated on 125 acres within the scenic Papago Park area of Phoenix, Arizona. Founded in 1962, the zoo cares for over 3,000 animals representing nearly 400 species, including many threatened and endangered wildlife.
