Porfell Wildlife Park and Sanctuary is a family-run animal sanctuary established in 1989, situated near Looe in south-east Cornwall close to Liskeard. Rather than a traditional zoo, Porfell offers a lifelong refuge for neglected, injured, and unwanted animals. Visitors can explore a range of exhibits including a Reptile House, a Children's Farm with donkeys and goats, primate enclosures, a Maasai village display, and regular owl shows. Interactive animal encounter and keeper talk sessions are held twice daily, giving visitors the opportunity to get close to the animals in a relaxed and caring environment. Operating from March to November, Porfell Wildlife Park is a warm and welcoming sanctuary that combines genuine animal welfare work with enriching educational experiences for families and wildlife enthusiasts in Cornwall.
