Project Survival Cat Haven

Project Survival Cat Haven is a pioneering wild cat sanctuary and conservation park set on 93 scenic acres at an elevation of 2,400 to 3,000 feet, located 15 miles west of Kings Canyon National Park in Fresno County, California. Founded in 1993 and welcoming its first cats in 1997, the sanctuary is home to lions, tigers, jaguars, cheetahs, and more than 25 other exotic and endangered feline species, making it one of the most comprehensive wild cat collections in the United States. Guided tours take visitors through naturalistic habitats to observe these remarkable animals up close, while an on-site education room supports youth programs and community outreach. The sanctuary operates under the belief that maintaining wild cats in captivity is justified by the imperative to preserve them in their native ranges, channeling visitor engagement into grassroots conservation support through its 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Project Survival.
