Quinta Pedagógica de Silves is an educational farm inaugurated in 2001 in Silves, in the Algarve region of Portugal. The facility is dedicated to preserving native Algarve animal and plant species and promoting awareness of the region's rural heritage among the general public. Visitors can encounter local fauna typical of the Algarve mountains, including an Algarve bull breed, and explore the farm's gardens and traditional spaces such as a miller's house and riding arena. A covered pavilion accommodating up to 50 people supports school group visits, outings for senior organisations, and private events. The quinta welcomes schools throughout the academic year and offers hands-on activities that connect children and adults with the traditions and biodiversity of the southern Portuguese countryside, with affordable admission making it an accessible educational experience for all.
