Rani Bagh Zoo

Rani Bagh Zoo is a historic zoological garden and recreational park located in Hyderabad, Sindh, Pakistan, originally established as a botanical garden in 1861 by the Agro-horticultural Society and later renamed in honour of Queen Victoria. Spread across 54 acres, it is the largest recreational facility in Hyderabad, divided into several distinct zones including the zoo, children's parks, jogging tracks, lawns, an artificial lake for boating, and a picnic area. The zoo is home to approximately 21 species of mammals, 41 species of birds, and 10 species of reptiles, while the botanical section boasts 3,177 trees representing 227 different species. With its rich green spaces, diverse wildlife, and family-friendly amenities, Rani Bagh Zoo is a cherished natural retreat in the heart of Hyderabad that has welcomed generations of families, students, and nature lovers.
