Rodbaston AnimalZone

Rodbaston AnimalZone is a licensed public zoo situated within the grounds of South Staffordshire College at Rodbaston, near Stafford in Staffordshire. Open to the public at weekends, during school holidays, and at seasonal events, the Animal Zone is home to around 750 animals from over 150 different species, including lemurs, alpacas, meerkats, monkeys, capybaras, rabbits, a fennec fox, and various bird species. The facility serves a dual purpose as both a public attraction and a teaching resource for the college's animal care students, ensuring high-quality husbandry and genuine educational value. Visitors can enjoy Meet the Keeper Sessions, Animal Encounters, Animal Feeding, and Craft Sessions, with a tea room providing refreshments.
