Safari West

Safari West is a 400-acre private wildlife preserve nestled in the rolling hills of Sonoma County, California, about 90 minutes north of San Francisco. Known informally as the Sonoma Serengeti, the preserve is home to more than 1,000 animals representing over 90 species, including giraffes, rhinos, zebras, gazelles, bongos, caracals, flamingoes, cranes, ostriches, and storks. Guests explore the grounds on open-air guided jeep safari tours or private vehicle excursions, with hands-on encounters such as giraffe and antelope feeding and an immersive Rhino Encounter available as special add-ons.
