Shawnee Prairie Preserve & Nature Center

Shawnee Prairie Preserve and Nature Center is a 118-acre natural area park located in Greenville, Ohio, managed by Darke County Parks, offering visitors a diverse landscape of prairie, forest, and wetland ecosystems to explore. The Nature Center features educational displays, resident animal ambassadors, and engaging programming designed to connect visitors with Ohio's native wildlife and natural habitats. Historic structures on the grounds, including an 18th-century log house and blacksmith shop, are open most Saturdays from May through September, adding a rich cultural dimension to the outdoor experience.
