Six Flags Wild Safari

Six Flags Wild Safari Adventure is a renowned drive-through wildlife park spanning 350 acres adjacent to Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson Township, Ocean County, New Jersey. Originally opening in 1974, the park is home to approximately 1,200 animals from six continents, organized across 11 themed sections along a 4.5-mile road. Visitors can experience the safari by driving through in their own vehicle along a self-guided 5-mile loop or by joining a 35-minute guided tour aboard open-air safari vehicles, encountering elephants, rhinos, tigers, giraffes, lions, and many other species. The drive-through experience operates seasonally from May through September, while guided tours are available throughout the season. Combining the thrill of a safari adventure with the accessibility of a major theme park destination, it remains one of the largest and most popular wildlife drives in the northeastern United States.
