Snilsberg Familiepark is a sprawling 55,000-square-metre family attraction in Ringsaker, situated between Hamar and Lillehammer in the Norwegian inland. Billing itself as Norway's greenest family park, it features scenic nature trails with views over Lake Mjøsa alongside a diverse collection of farm and exotic animals including horses, alpacas, goats, pigs, rabbits, guinea pigs, emus, peacocks, geese, ducks, and turkeys. Visitors can interact with animals at petting stations and join guided morning feedings. The park also offers horseback riding, tractor rides, trampolines, playgrounds, and an arts-and-crafts area. Special themed Sundays throughout the season highlight waffle days, horse demonstrations, and vehicle exhibitions. Open at weekends from late May and daily through mid-August, Snilsberg delivers a hands-on rural experience for families of all ages.
