Songkhla Aquarium

Songkhla Aquarium is a public marine and freshwater aquarium established in 2008 on the northern tip of the Songkhla peninsula in southern Thailand, serving as a learning and conservation center for aquatic biodiversity. The facility is organized into four distinct zones: Zone A for freshwater and upstream fish, Zone B for brackish water and commercial species, Zone C for saltwater creatures and ornamental fish, and Zone D, the flagship Big Tank, which houses a massive marbled stingray, zebra sharks, and a giant grouper weighing over 200 kilograms. Daily diver feeding shows bring the tanks to life, and ecosystem exhibits recreate environments from mountain streams to mangroves and open sea. Open daily with extended weekend hours, Songkhla Aquarium is a family-friendly destination with broad educational appeal.
