Stone Zoo is a 26-acre zoological facility in Stoneham, Massachusetts, operated by Zoo New England alongside the Franklin Park Zoo in Boston. The zoo features a compelling collection of wildlife including snow leopards in the Himalayan Highlands, jaguars and cougars in the Treasures of the Sierra Madre exhibit, North American river otters and black-and-white colobus monkeys in Treetops and Riverbeds, and hyacinth macaws and two-toed sloths in Windows to the Wild. Caribbean flamingos, Mexican gray wolves, white-cheeked gibbons, and whooping cranes further enrich the collection. Stone Zoo serves as an accessible community wildlife destination north of Boston, offering educational programming, conservation outreach, and year-round family experiences in a beautifully maintained natural setting.
