Taralga Wildlife Park

Taralga Wildlife Park is a diverse and family-friendly wildlife park located in Taralga, in the Upper Lachlan Shire of New South Wales, open Thursday to Monday and every day during school holidays. The park is home to over 700 birds and animals across more than 100 species, including white kangaroos, quokkas, five species of wallaby, emus, camels, deer, alpacas, llamas, donkeys, and a spectacular range of birds such as macaws, black cockatoos, pheasants, and a wedge-tailed eagle. With more than 50 exhibits, highlights include a friendly wombat named Bridget, a resident dingo named Rinnie, and the beloved Friendship Farm where children can feed and pet miniature ponies, mini goats, sheep, rabbits, and guinea pigs. The park's welcoming atmosphere and wide variety of animals make it an excellent day out for families exploring the Southern Tablelands region.
