Texas State Aquarium

The Texas State Aquarium is the largest aquarium in Texas, situated along the scenic Corpus Christi Bay waterfront at 2710 North Shoreline Boulevard in Corpus Christi. Since opening in 1990, the aquarium has pursued a mission of wildlife conservation and education, showcasing more than 300 species including sea turtles, sharks, stingrays, dolphins, flamingos, sloths, exotic birds, otters, jellyfish, and a vibrant array of tropical fish. Notable exhibits include the Saving Sharks interactive touch pool, the 10,000-gallon Stingray Lagoon where guests can touch and feed stingrays, and Tortuga Cay, where rehabilitated sea turtles can be viewed above and below the water. The on-site Port of Corpus Christi Center for Wildlife Rescue is the largest coastal wildlife rescue facility in Texas, permitted to treat marine mammals, raptors, shorebirds, and sea turtles. Immersive shows, education programs, and conservation initiatives make the Texas State Aquarium a standout destination on the Gulf Coast.
