The Animalarium

The Animalarium, also known as Borth Animalarium, is a small zoo and animal attraction located in the seaside village of Borth, Ceredigion, seven miles north of Aberystwyth in mid-Wales. Set across 12 acres, the attraction focuses on domestic and farm animals alongside smaller approachable species, including friendly goats, pigs, ponies, guinea pigs, rabbits, and a variety of birds. Daily activities include reptile shows where visitors can touch lizards and snakes, meerkat encounters, bunny grooming, crocodile feeding, and owl and cat feeding sessions. On select days throughout the year, an exotic collection featuring reptiles, tortoises, wallabies, emus, silver foxes, owls, and rheas is also open to visitors. With flat accessible pathways throughout and a café open to the public, The Animalarium offers a relaxed and welcoming family day out in a picturesque coastal location in Wales.
