The Flicka Foundation Donkey Sanctuary is a registered charity and rescue centre located at Penty Noweth Farm in Mabe Burnthouse, Penryn, near Falmouth in Cornwall. Founded in 1995 by Mary Berryman, the sanctuary provides a safe and loving home for over 100 rescued donkeys, ponies, and horses that have been saved from abuse, neglect, or abandonment. Visitors are welcomed free of charge Thursday to Sunday from 11am to 4pm, with donations appreciated. Donkey experiences including grooming, feeding, and mucking out can be pre-booked, and the site features a cafe and gift shop. The sanctuary holds Global Federation of Animal Sanctuaries Outstanding Equine Sanctuary accreditation.
