The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens

The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens is a remarkable 1,200-acre non-profit zoo and desert botanical garden located in Palm Desert, California, in the heart of the Coachella Valley. With 80 developed acres open to visitors, the attraction is home to more than 500 animals representing over 150 species, as well as more than 1,600 species of desert plants.
