Toledo Zoo & Aquarium

The Toledo Zoo and Aquarium, located in Toledo, Ohio, is a comprehensive AZA-accredited zoological institution and member of the World Association of Zoos and Aquariums, home to over 10,000 individual animals from 720 species and participating in around 80 species survival programs. The acclaimed Aquarium features more than 3,000 aquatic animals in 178,000 gallons of water, with over 250 species including sharks, rays, lake sturgeon, spider crabs, and mesmerizing sea jellies. The zoo is internationally renowned for its Hippoquarium, where visitors watch hippopotamuses swim in a 360,000-gallon glass-sided pool from just inches away.
