Turtle Bay Exploration Park

Turtle Bay Exploration Park is a sprawling 300-acre outdoor cultural and nature center situated along the banks of the Sacramento River in Redding, California, anchored by the iconic Sundial Bridge designed by architect Santiago Calatrava. The park is home to more than 64 animal species, all non-releasable individuals native to Northern California, including grey and red foxes, golden eagles, bobcats, and Alaskan porcupines. Animal shows run Wednesday through Sunday and cover topics such as Predator vs. Prey, bringing animals in front of audiences in an engaging educational format. The seasonal Wings of Summer Butterfly House and a lorikeet aviary offer additional immersive wildlife encounters.
