
Upper Schuylkill Valley Park is a serene 15-acre county nature park located at 1615 Black Rock Road in Royersford, Pennsylvania, managed by Montgomery County Parks. The park is home to a Wildlife Center where visitors can observe native Pennsylvania animals including raccoons, foxes, skunks, bobcats, owls, vultures, turkeys, and an array of farm animals. A permanent indoor exhibit, The Schuylkill Wilds, showcases creatures found in and around the Schuylkill River such as turtles, frogs, fish, snakes, and quail, alongside a seasonal butterfly garden. Outdoor highlights include picnic areas, fishing spots along the river, a carry-in boat ramp, and a natural surface trail connecting to the Schuylkill East Trail. Admission is free and group field trips are welcomed, making it an accessible family destination for nature lovers in the greater Philadelphia area.
