Wildheart Animal Sanctuary, formerly known as the Isle of Wight Zoo, is a dedicated wildlife rescue sanctuary located in Sandown on the Isle of Wight. The sanctuary is home to a diverse range of rescued and endangered species including bears, tigers, lions, lemurs, lynxes, servals, monkeys, farm animals, birds, and reptiles. Visitor experiences include animal encounters, daily keeper talks, animal adoption programmes, and birthday parties, all set against the scenic Isle of Wight coastline with an award-winning cafe offering sea views. The Wildheart Trust actively funds in-situ tiger conservation efforts in India and champions protection for rare moths on the island, while also campaigning against the breeding of exotic domestic cat hybrids in the UK. The sanctuary has received multiple regional tourism awards and Tripadvisor recognition.
