Wildwood Trust Kent

Wildwood Trust Kent is a wildlife park and conservation charity set across forty acres of ancient woodland near Herne Bay in Kent, dedicated to saving British wildlife from extinction and reintroducing lost native species. The park is home to over 200 animals representing more than fifty native British species, including wolves, lynx, Scottish wildcats, brown bears, red deer, bison, badgers, otters, wild boar, beavers, and rare squirrels, all displayed in semi-natural woodland enclosures along a winding trail. Wildwood Trust has been a pioneer in water vole conservation for over twenty years, releasing around 2,000 voles across the UK, and recently unveiled a state-of-the-art lynx enclosure as part of its species restoration mission. Daily keeper talks and a National Curriculum-linked education programme make Wildwood Trust Kent an inspiring and educational day out for families and school groups in the south-east.
