WWT Washington

WWT Washington is a Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust wetland centre located in Washington, Tyne and Wear, set within a beautifully managed nature reserve. The centre features diverse wetland habitats including woodland areas such as Spring Gill and Hollow Wood, and is home to Asian short-clawed otters alongside a rich variety of wildfowl, waterbirds, and woodland wildlife. Visitors can explore bird hides for wildlife observation, enjoy pond-dipping activities, and take part in adventure play areas designed to engage younger visitors.
