Yorkshire Wildlife Park

Yorkshire Wildlife Park is an award-winning zoo, wildlife conservation centre, and family attraction located near Doncaster in South Yorkshire, having opened in 2009 and now home to around 500 animals representing approximately 100 species. The park is internationally recognised for Project Polar, one of the world's largest polar bear reserves, providing rescued polar bears with a vast, naturalistic Arctic-themed environment. Other headline exhibits include Point Lobos, featuring six California sea lions in the largest filtered sea lion exhibit in the world, alongside walk-through areas such as Wallaby Walkabout, Lemur Woods, and the Amazonas Interactive Reserve. Visitors can also encounter lions, tigers, black rhinos, giraffes, red pandas, giant otters, and meerkats, with ranger-led animal experiences available. Pangea, the park's prehistoric dinosaur attraction, adds additional excitement, and the adjacent Yorkshire Hive offers free-admission dining and shopping.
