ZOO Miki Kolut

ZOO Miki Kolut is a privately owned zoological park located in the village of Kolut, near Sombor in northern Serbia, and holds the distinction of being the first private zoo established in the country, founded in 1988. Spread across more than seven and a half acres of woodland, lawns, and a network of artificial lakes, the zoo is home to over 100 animal species from around the world. Highlights include two flamingo species, rare secretary birds — among only a handful of places globally where they reproduce — bustards, Livingstone's turaco, Orinoco geese, pythons, monkeys, bears, roe deer, ponies, and various swans. The unique and wide-ranging collection, set in a beautiful natural environment, makes ZOO Miki Kolut a standout wildlife destination in Vojvodina.
