Zoo Sauvage de Saint-Felicien is one of Quebec's largest and most celebrated wildlife parks, sprawling across 485 hectares of boreal forest terrain in Saint-Felicien, in the Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean region. Home to more than 400 animals representing 75 species, the zoo features distinct areas including mountain predator zones with cougars, bobcats, Canadian lynx, coyotes, and grizzly bears, as well as open parkland where bison, moose, elk, woodland caribou, musk oxen, and black bears roam freely. A signature wire-mesh train ride takes visitors through the Nature Trails Park, allowing them to observe wildlife in expansive natural habitats. An Asia zone with Amur tigers and Japanese macaques adds further diversity to this CAZA-accredited attraction.
