Zoocriadero UNAS Tingo María is a wildlife breeding center and zoo operated by the National Agrarian University of the Jungle (UNAS) in Tingo María, Huánuco, Peru. Established over three decades ago, the facility receives animals seized by authorities from illegal wildlife trafficking and provides refuge and care for endangered Amazonian species, with the goal of eventually returning many to their natural habitat. The collection includes macaws, parrots, monkeys, river otters, jaguars, and various reptiles. Open to the public daily, it serves as both an educational resource for students and a family-friendly destination for visitors exploring the biodiversity of Peru's tropical jungle.
