The sanctuary operated out of the Dunrovin Country Store property and closed to the public in November 2024, with all animals successfully rehomed to new caretakers.

The Navajo Nation Zoological and Botanical Park, also known by its Navajo name Dine Bikeyah binaaldeehii doo chil danilinidi, is a unique cultural and wildlife institution located in Window Rock, Arizona, the capital of the Navajo Nation. It is the only tribally owned zoological park in the United States and distinctively labels all its exhibits in the Navajo language. Spanning seven acres, the park is home to over 100 animals representing more than 50 species, most of which are native to the Navajo region, including black bears, Mexican wolves, bobcats, mountain lions, coyotes, mule deer, elk, Gila monsters, golden eagles, red-tailed hawks, and great horned owls. The park's Golden Eagle Sanctuary, opened in 2016, cares for five non-releasable golden eagles. Admission is free, and the zoo actively supports cultural education, wildlife rehabilitation, and Navajo ceremonial traditions.

Lupa Zoo is an 18-acre privately owned, not-for-profit wildlife destination located in Ludlow, Massachusetts, officially opened in 1996 and now home to over 500 animals representing a wide variety of species. Visitors can explore exhibits featuring zebras, bears, bobcats, camels, ostriches, emus, donkeys, tapirs, anteaters, sloths, monkeys, otters, Amazonian macaws, and many more, alongside a popular critter garden and a seasonal splash pad. The zoo is certified as a Sensory Inclusive Zoo, making it especially welcoming for guests with varying sensory needs. One of the most beloved activities is feeding the baby goats in the interactive petting area. Lupa Zoo caters to families and large groups through dedicated programming, group packages, and a warm, community-focused atmosphere in the heart of western Massachusetts.

Hand Me Down Zoo is a nonprofit exotic animal sanctuary located in Winder, Georgia, dedicated to providing a caring home for animals in need, including non-releasable wildlife and rescued exotics. The zoo recently rebuilt its facilities following a fire and now offers appointment-only tours and animal encounters featuring a wide variety of species, from kangaroos and lemurs to sheep and tortoises. Educational programming such as the "Kids Going Wild" outreach series, traveling petting zoo services, and film and photography sessions are also available. The sanctuary's mission centers on animal welfare, education, and fostering positive relationships between people and wildlife, making every visit a meaningful learning experience for visitors of all ages in northeast Georgia.
